Congrats on proving (yet again) that you're one of FriendFeed's biggest names by drawing so many comments on the FF thread!

These 1000+ comment threads are great in real time but rather awful for trying to sift through if you show up after the party's ended. Hopefully there are some new FF UI tweaks coming in this area.

It was our first attempt at saving the chat at all, Daniel. It is a bit of a chore to go through afterwards, but it does at least exist for those who were participating live to go back to.

Not sure if anything to solve this is in the works at FriendFeed, but it would be nice to have some sort of video play the chat along like a karaoke video, synchronized with the timing they were input on the broadcast. HOWEVER, if any post production is done (and we use it all the time) edits will throw off the synch, and we're back to square one.

So, is that massive thread the highlight of the show itself? No, but having a ton of participation definitely is.

As someone who missed the live broadcast and caught the podcast instead, the length of the thread (does size matter?) wasn't as important as the in-depth conversation between the three of you, including your observations on the differences between Twitter and FriendFeed as social media. If anyone has the wherewithal to do it, a text transcript of this episode would be VERY valuable.

Oh, and I also learned how to pronounce Disqus (dis QUS) properly.

Josh, the thread is awesome and I'm glad it's there. I think you guys are doing the right thing in keeping the chat on FriendFeed itself and it's great that we can finally do that.

I'm trying to look forward and figure out ways we can make the chat even better in the future. Please don't take that as a knock against your production values. Your podcast is excellent and I hope it keeps going for a long time.

Didn't take it as a knock, Daniel. It's good feedback. I look forward to a creative solution as well. Thanks for the support!
