I know that for myself multiple searches/refinements usually happen because my first attempt shows me where I left potential for confusion in my original search. And the ambiguity is often not something I could recognize before trying the search. I don't necessarily know that the program I'm searching for shares its name with an old movie that also appears in a well known song lyric.
