    Reading your post, I share your concerns and the timing of this from Twitter against your own announcement is a little coincidental.

    HAH! I said they should do this nearly 18 months ago - it makes sense - don't worry Twitter team -you don't need to credit me - I will be there with cupcakes next month!

    Another company not unlike Microsoft. Too concerned that someone is going to step on their potential for profits, that they don't tend to making a quality product.

    While I think in this case they should have been providing this service all along, it seems that they should focus on streamlining their architecture, and put more effort in to future scaling requirements.

    I turned off new follower notification emails months ago. I do receive email copies of DMs, and I've noticed these, too, changed--not just in layout but also in the sender's email address, throwing my inbox in a fit for a bit until I changed my filter settings.

    What I want in these emails is not the number of follows or folloers, but the profile text so I can see if they're worth following or blocking!!!

    I would also like visible followers we share and feel this would assist in determining the value and longevity they will offer!

    Hi Louis Thanks for the mention, but with all due respect to competition what Topify offers as you know is not about displaying more information but providing smarter notifications. For example we tell you if you are already following this person. We enable you right from your email to follow, unfollow, block and soon report to spam. We enable answer to DM from the email directly.

    In addition we provide a lot more data to make smart decision: full integration with MrTweet (we are the very app to do that at all), ratio following/follower and more.

    Re the scaling: we are set up for massive scale and do not plan to charge for the service in its current form.
