Regardless .. holding a grudge is a waste of emotional time. There are plenty of spaces to engage new and interesting (and fun) people.

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/05/forgive-but-remember-it-never-pays-to.html

ups

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/05/forgive-but-remember-it-never-pays-to.html

acha

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/05/forgive-but-remember-it-never-pays-to.html

I have to say Louis, it seems like you have had a wide range of events happen in your life, even before you hit it big with your blog, just make sure that you don't become Arrington of Techcrunch.com :)

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/05/forgive-but-remember-it-never-pays-to.html

But I do believe that the behavior that people consistently exhibit is a good marker where to make decisions about people you do and do not want in your life. Just my 2 cents,

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/05/forgive-but-remember-it-never-pays-to.html

Indeed holding grudges over things that happen on the internets is quite silly. There are other 'real life' incidents that happen, however, that I simply cannot overlook. I believe that, "An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind." Though I am just not that compassionate or forgiving in many cases at this point.

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/05/forgive-but-remember-it-never-pays-to.html

Well said Louis. I think you showed a lot of class by handling this the way you did. There are too many big egos and small minds in social media. Thanks for showing us how to handle a conflict with your dignity in tact.

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/05/forgive-but-remember-it-never-pays-to.html

"Now, when the tendency is to get ticked, take things personally and go off on some rant, I know to hold my breath and pause. It's less exciting, and it doesn't get tons of traffic, but you won't see rants here, and I'm not carrying a grudge."

It takes a man made of sterner stuff to master this. But it's a more healthy and productive way of conducting your business and personal dealings. Very wise credo. It's far better to work with this mindset than to set forth in the world powered and at the same blinded by enmity.

I love this - superb.

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/05/forgive-but-remember-it-never-pays-to.html

holy bananas! 17 yo... how many kitties were killed keeping all that email?! :O LOL

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/05/forgive-but-remember-it-never-pays-to.html

So true. I have 12 years of email backed up. In fact, it still sits in the Outlook PST which I use now. I got my first email address in 1997 at university, using something called Pegasus Mail, then went through various ISP and webmail accounts, but they're all in there. In fact, only recently have I started to delete mail. I even used to archive the spam...

Re: http://blog.louisgray.com/2009/05/forgive-but-remember-it-never-pays-to.html

Since early 1996 anyway.
