I like to give people three chances if they take a 'shot'. Regardless .. holding a grudge is a waste of emotional time. There are plenty of spaces to engage new and interesting (and fun) people.

Indeed holding grudges over things that happen on the internets is quite silly. There are other 'real life' incidents that happen, however, that I simply cannot overlook. I believe that, "An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind." Though I am just not that compassionate or forgiving in many cases at this point.

It takes a man made of sterner stuff to master this. But it's a more healthy and productive way of conducting your business and personal dealings. Very wise credo. It's far better to work with this mindset than to set forth in the world powered and at the same blinded by enmity.

So true. I have 12 years of email backed up. In fact, it still sits in the Outlook PST which I use now. I got my first email address in 1997 at university, using something called Pegasus Mail, then went through various ISP and webmail accounts, but they're all in there. In fact, only recently have I started to delete mail. I even used to archive the spam...

Since early 1996 anyway. So when I was 18. Mac makes it easy. When I first sent some of these e-mails I was probably using Eudora Lite. In between, I used Outlook Express, Entourage and Mail. The mailboxes include mail sent to me at berkeley.edu, earthlink.net, home.com, attbi.com, comcast.net and mac.com.
