To learn the extent of the problem, you can go to the Information Overload Research Group or simply read some of the studies an independent research firm, Basex, has put together (a lot of their material is available on line at &lt;a href="http://www.basexblog.com/category/information-overload/)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="http://www.basexblog.com/category/information-overload/)"&gt;http://www.basexblog.com/ca...&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But I am glad you are bringing up the problem!
