Louis: you crack me up. Timing is everything in life but I wish I could take credit for this. Rackspace is rocking and rolling and I had nothing to do with that. This is my favorite company I have ever worked with and I said that long before I was on the payroll.

The Downward Spiral was actually one of the most insightful and brilliant "economy" pieces I've read. It buys you a lot of leash.

Devin, I think very few people could look at the surge in Rackspace's shares and give Scoble credit. It's simply a fun exercise - no matter how much or how little technical analysis one throws at it.

Michael, thanks first for the compliment and your checking out the recent posts. This is partially meant as satire. It's supposed to be silly. Scoble and I get along just fine, so I don't think I need to pump him up any more. Keep me honest though.

Wouldn't you want to adjust for RAX's beta? Looking at Google Finanace they don't list a beta - maybe there isn't enough data to do a regression analysis to set a beta. Not that there couldn't be some causation, but the larger swing could be due to RAX being more volatile than the NASDAQ.
