Saw myself on one of those screen shots. Look, here's my problem: Friendfeed has the same "Suggested User" feature with most of the known early adopters and Silicon Valley crowd.

I don't think it's right that Friendfeed gets a pass on having a list because (one could infer anyway) because it has the "right" people on the list.

Every opportunity to jump on the Twitter list, people do it. I realize it's cool to hate Twitter, but can we move on?

I also question the update per day limit

Focusing on the fact Obama's campaign team was blocking 100 users, that's a mouthload in itself. I'd love to know WHY they opted to block twitter users; it's not like anyone read every incoming tweet...for they surely didn't reply or DM anyone. Which begs the question why the block? Why those accounts in particular?

As for the 126 daily limit, that gives a whole new meaning to "nuclear follow costs," as I know many who tweet 100+ times a day; I've been victim of that, too.

I love this post, as it makes me laugh & I'm nodding my head the entire time. (Scary that the leaks are for supposed "admin" purposes.) I often have people get offended when I tell them that Twitter won't let me follow any one else. So far, I haven't had anyone's cat follow me...I don't think. Though there have been Artists & Stars' body parts that have "followed me". Go figure.

I am not so interested in knowing who I blocked - mainly spammers - but am curious if anyone has blocked me. Is there a way to find that out?
  • Jesse Stay · 7 months ago
Coturnix, no - the Twitter API only allows you to see who you blocked right now. I think there are obvious privacy considerations in enabling you to see who blocked you.
