Excellent summary and demonstration on how to use the app. I am glad the gang over there brought something different and useful to the table with this app. I know you have been a big advocate since it's private beta release. Congrats to Claire and the gang.

Will give LazyFeed another shot after seeing this video.

BTW, keep the videos coming. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
  • Louis Gray · 5 months ago
True, Holden. I try to use my fake voice. :) (You haven't heard the voice-overs on the twin videos?)

    why is LazyFeed invite only?
  • Louis Gray · 5 months ago
Damir, LazyFeed is invite only because I am not in charge. Ethan and Claire know I would like to open it up to everyone.

Excellent job Louis! LazyFeed looks very interesting indeed.

Re your presentation skills on this screencast I would say they are above average. Good timing, good tone and pace, no hesitations, right to the point throughout... overall is very effective.

If I were you I would do more as I think people really appreciate this kind of visual and highly practical knowledge sharing.

    :-)

I've been reading feeds by tags for over a year. I found it to be a much better way to consume RSS then the standard per feed way. I'm pretty excited about lazyfeed and I truly hope they do very well because if they do others will mimic and maybe one day I can stop maintaining my own rss feed reader project.

Btw can i get an invite? I'm smilbandit on every site.

    Hi Louis

Thanks for the discovery. I enjoyed the real time aspect although the data input is not so great (Twitter does not work)

But you should look at Wikio.com which does most of the "RSS mapping" by Topic using semantic technologies and which has big traction in europe (disclosure: i am involved as an investor)

Louis I would like to see more of these and you're better than some of the real professionals. Short, to the point and educational. I continue to see the value in Lazyfeed as I have my keywords gathering information in "real-time"

I assume the content is author-tagged, right? If so, does LazyFeed do anything to deal with the inevitable spam? (e.g. at 2:44 you have a link to http://www.viral-reklame.dk/mortal-kombat-dc-ap...)

Louis, from the looks of this, Lazyfeed could be just what I've been looking for and a tremendous source of blog topic material. Is it still possible to get an invite code? Thanks. (seth.greenblatt@gmail.com)
