I was running PhotoShop, Mail, iTunes, BBEdit and Safari. Turned out I had saved the e-mail halfway through, so I found it and completed this morning. Also, going back and re-editing the blog template was pretty easy, as I had already done it and could quickly recreate. But still... not too exciting.

Re: louisgray.com: Yes, Macs Can Crash Too

Perhaps it was VMware with Windows running?

As long as you do not have to return to the days of the sad Mac, I think you will be ok!

Re: louisgray.com: Yes, Macs Can Crash Too

Wow - I wonder what caused it to freeze up like that. It's not like Macs get viruses all that often, maybe malware?

Good luck with that. I know how frustrating it can be to lose all your work suddenly. Just as I was updating a site, Firefox crashed. Granted it's 3 beta 3, so it's to be expected, but it really could have picked a better time...
