The living room has the bouncy seat, jumper, inflatable ring, baby mat and more... And that's despite the room designated as my office becoming the nursery!

I'm just amazed at how you and your wife are managing two children, and your workload, particularly a Masters Degree...

Re: louisgray.com: When Mom's Away, Dad and Twins Play

Dan, we only have one jumpy swing. Despite the temptation to have two
of everything, we'll draw the line here. Our small condo already looks
like Babies R Us exploded, with our two bouncy seats, a chair swing, a
playpen and the jumper. Maybe we would get a second if we ever moved
into a home, but with the way finances are going, we could barely
afford a place in Idaho or Montana, let alone here in the Bay Area.

Re: louisgray.com: When Mom's Away, Dad and Twins Play

Steve, thanks for your comments. I share your concerns. In a few
years, we will see the kids as they develop and we will then be able
to see what traits of mine they carry.

Re: louisgray.com: When Mom's Away, Dad and Twins Play

Great pics and vids, man... :-) I'm sure they make you proud!

Re: louisgray.com: When Mom's Away, Dad and Twins Play

Such beautiful kids! They are complete angels!

.. are you sure they are yours (I've seen your photo)

Re: louisgray.com: When Mom's Away, Dad and Twins Play

A jumper/bouncer in the doorway is probably the best investment ever! My 7 month old loves it, and it means he can amuse himself for 10 minutes and watch me doing something at the same time, without needing constant holding - which can make typing a pain....

Plus he spends his entire time smiling and laughing, which is awesome to watch.

With two children, do you have to make one wait, or do you end up with two doorways filled with bouncing babies at any time?

Re: louisgray.com: When Mom's Away, Dad and Twins Play

Good to see Matthew and Sarah get some "air-time" on LG.com.
