A blog, on the other hand, with a decent amount of readers is public and influential.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I had a similar experience with MyBlogLog.  Except Eric, one of the cofounders, was simply awesome and offered me a Pro account when I told him about my passion for the service at a conference.
