the good, or bad thing -- depending your perspective -- is we will likely have plenty of opportunities to test it out sooner rather than later.

did you not notice twiddict? doesn't really matter, just for the record;)
  • Louis Gray · 1 year ago
I did see Twiddict. That's why in the first paragraph, I wrote, "In its place, a new crop of services is rising to work around the downtime. The latest, debuting today, is called twitAbit." I didn't try to say it was the first. But the Dave Winer angle is interesting as well.

Maybe it's just me but when Twitter's down, it's not a big enough deal to use a queuing service. I just wait until Twitter comes back to life. I'm pretty amazed that Twitter has become so crucial for so many people - and not just for personal communication.

Erm. What happens when twitabit goes down under the load?
  • Ken Hudak · 1 year ago
What would be great is if there was a 40404 type # to send the Tweets to, and have them queued up in TwitAbit...that's the way I like to use Twitter.

Hi Ken. Txt "TWAB" to 41411. This is still experimental, but I'm using it already for my mobile tweets.
