I can't ever remember how to spell people's twitter handles

Re: TweetDeck to Add Translations, Tweets by E-mail, StockTwits

Great Stuff Ian.. Keep the enhancements and upgrades coming.. However as Tweetdeck comsumes an awful lot of RAM.. does adding new features mean that it becomes even more thirsty for power..

Thanks

Mark

Re: TweetDeck to Add Translations, Tweets by E-mail, StockTwits

Thanks!

Re: TweetDeck to Add Translations, Tweets by E-mail, StockTwits

good stuff, lovin the stocktwits integration

Re: TweetDeck to Add Translations, Tweets by E-mail, StockTwits

What Tweetdeck really needs is updates to the filtering and search capabilites: Full featured search (same as Search.twitter.com) on the Search tabs, with "-" exclusions and other operators.

More importantly, the filter capabilites on the "with friends" stream need to be beefed up greatly, allowing AND, OR, - exclusions, etc. all in the same query, which should also be saved on shutdown (option to select from a list of saved filters would be nice). Currently, I am approximating this in Thunderbird mail client with my "with friends" RSS stream piped in, and "email filter" rules set up.

But it would be much more practical in Tweetdeck, which I otherwise like and applaud. NOW is the time to pull away decisively from the competition in the "Twitter client" category.

Follow me on Twitter, I follow back:
Twitter.com/AlexSchleber

Re: TweetDeck to Add Translations, Tweets by E-mail, StockTwits

Now if they could only improve their memory management so that I could run it on my little RAM-limited laptop without completely killing the thing over the course of about two hours. I've had to switch to Twhirl (which I don't like anywhere near as much) simply to be able to do anything else on my machine at the same time.

Re: TweetDeck to Add Translations, Tweets by E-mail, StockTwits

Welcome updates.

Building on the 'email-this' feature, perhaps Iain will add a sort of 'Share-This' function (so you can bookmark favorite tweets directly from TweetDeck).

Re: TweetDeck to Add Translations, Tweets by E-mail, StockTwits

cool!

Re: TweetDeck to Add Translations, Tweets by E-mail, StockTwits

That's great news, can't wait to test out the new features.
