I'd give up my computer before I give up my iPhone

Re: louisgray.com: Social Media Workflow on the iPhone

It would certainly work well in that case. On plane rides I will make sure and sync it before takeoff. It would have a good chance of taking over daily use of the web-interface if it wouldn't shorten the title on posts. When I'm browsing for something to read I want to see the entire title.

Re: louisgray.com: Social Media Workflow on the iPhone

Melfi, that is a perfect use for Byline! The best part is that you know your 'read' and 'shared' articles will sync back to Google Reader once you get back on the cell network after your subway ride. Be sure to check the settings for the app -- you can control how many articles it downloads when it syncs.

Re: louisgray.com: Social Media Workflow on the iPhone

Thanks for introducing me to Byline. I bought an iPhone a little over a month ago and have been looking for a good RSS reader that will sync with Google Reader. Living in NYC, I have a 25 minute subway ride back and forth from home to work each day. With no service underground, I've been using Instapaper to read blogs and sites. Instapaper is a great app and I still will use it, but Byline is great.

Re: louisgray.com: Social Media Workflow on the iPhone

1. fivethirtyeight.com
2. electoral-vote.com
3. realclearpolitics.com

In about 12 days I won't be doing this anymore, and my routine will be more like yours. None of these sites are particularly iPhone friendly.
