In about 12 days I won't be doing this anymore, and my routine will be more like yours. None of these sites are particularly iPhone friendly.

Thanks for introducing me to Byline. I bought an iPhone a little over a month ago and have been looking for a good RSS reader that will sync with Google Reader. Living in NYC, I have a 25 minute subway ride back and forth from home to work each day. With no service underground, I've been using Instapaper to read blogs and sites. Instapaper is a great app and I still will use it, but Byline is great.

Melfi, that is a perfect use for Byline! The best part is that you know your 'read' and 'shared' articles will sync back to Google Reader once you get back on the cell network after your subway ride. Be sure to check the settings for the app -- you can control how many articles it downloads when it syncs.

It would certainly work well in that case. On plane rides I will make sure and sync it before takeoff. It would have a good chance of taking over daily use of the web-interface if it wouldn't shorten the title on posts. When I'm browsing for something to read I want to see the entire title.

Brilliant, I use a couple of these, Halo, LInked IN and will try the others. I'd give up my computer before I give up my iPhone

something you might not be aware of but that makes my life alot easier is when I'm in byline sometimes i want to post the link to Twitter well if you use tweeties bookmarklet (believe twitterific has one to) you can open in safari and then use that or if like me you don't really use the share feature of Reader i have set twitterfeed to post from the rss feed of my share and post it to my tweet with the heading of what i am reading so everyone following me gets to read it to.
