This reminds me of an experience I had with a firewall vendor recently.

12:00 AM EDT (Friday morning) - diagnosed problem requiring firewall be shipped.
12:30 AM EDT - began RMA process.
4:00 PM EDT (Friday evening) - firewall would ship
12:00 PM EDT (Monday afternoon) - firewall might arrive b/c FedEx takes the weekend off.

What good does it do when I'm loosing an estimated $30k in business / day?

Needless to say, I learned the finer points of legal jargon in a contract at that point and was not very pleased. Even though they fulfilled their contractual obligations, that left a very bad taste in my mouth. Luckily I was able to restore the configuration on the burnt unit and get things working in the meantime. e-Bay here I come to buy a spare.

Sorry to hear about your experience but Overnightprints.com is a business like any other and they make mistakes. I've placed three orders with them over the years, two of which were over night orders. Both were shipped the day my order was placed and both arrived on time. The third arrived two days ahead of schedule. Their stuff is decent quality (for the price) and I based on my experience I would probably recommend them to someone in a rush or on a very tight budget...

Receiving your orders with a certain amount of delay is expectable, but if you name your company Overnight Prints, you've chosen the path of mandatory mockery. :)

They should use the people who run the online Apple Store, I ordered my iPod Touch on Thursday morning and it was here by noon on Friday - and that wasn't any special 'express' extra $$$ shipping, but just the regular free shipping

The same thing happened with me and Zazzle...they say "Ships 24 hours after order" so I place an order - 4 days later it ships...

maybe they are on alien time?

This seems to be a normal thing with online printing stores. We do a majority of our printing with online vendors and the response time from print to delivery is terrible. Absolutely terrible. I have ordered 25 different projects through an online vendor... 2 have been received on time.
