I wonder if they use SarBox or are organized after ITIL...

The interface was very slow last night too.

A gradual rollout of the new functionality might have been more appropriate than the big-bang approach. Small changes are more manageable and mean that criticisms of new functionality can be addressed without degrading existing features.

Good to see Sitemeter trying to compete though.

I was quite excited initially that there was an upgrade but I found the new format quite confusing.
What I liked about the original site was the simplicity and the ability to quickly click through to see the details on who had searched using what and where they went.

I am sure they will get it right but I have lost about 16 hours of stats - something I take seriously.

On the plus side I note that Landscape Juice is in the top 7,000 sites of over one million on the scoreboard.

"Form was chosen over function" happens too often. The issue of removing shortcuts and direct clickable links is often the result of poorly thought-out customer surveys and user testing disassociated with the business requirements. In the physical world, I remember being surveyed at a railways station and asked whether I'd like to see fast food restaurants and a wider range of shops in the station forecourt. "Yes", but they didn't ask if I would ever use them - that would have been a "no". I guess all the feedback was that people love pull-down menus.
