FTC Disclosures Made Simple For Bloggers With Conflicts
-Dave
I'm not interested in social features if I have to give up speed and performance. Obviously, keyboard shortcuts are one key enabler when it comes to speed. But raw server performance is a huge factor. I'm not saying I need benchmarks or math-y stats. Just tell me one thing before I try out a new feed reader:
Is it as fast as Google Reader?
That's part of why I mentioned the keyboard shortcuts. I think adding keyboard navigation is essential, especially as the number of feeds increases. I have seen other feed readers (like Assetbar) that added keyboard navigation, but lagged on speed, which was unsustainable.
There are some who will be happy trading social for speed, and some won't. I believe that with time, both elements are solvable. Google happens to do a great job with speed today, and we hold them to extremely high expectations.
