Apple really needs to set its priorities for example Apple promised us PUSH NOTIFICATIONS in June yet it still hasn't been seen. Other things I think apple needs to do is recreate the whole bluetooth thing and make it so it can receive and send files. Apple also needs to create iChat because most of us are tired of 3rd party crappy applications. Also they should introduce landscape mode with controls so if you are in bed and listening to music coverflow doesn't turn on, kind of like a locking feature also you should be able to text as well as email in landscape mode. Finally Apple should release cut/copy/paste we really need it.

well, tell me one thing, does the new iphone firmware coming out "SOON" has a real GPS... not some assisted shit... the one that works with satellites, not cell towers and data plan that at&t sells...u know im ready to spend some money on real-gps app on iphone rather than paying to use Free google map (free because google provides it for free, not free because it doesn't work withough at&t data plan)...sucks.

There is a select group of us at Portland State that have access to the 2.3 beta, and would be happy to give you screenshots of some new stuff, and details about what's in the beta, that might possibly come out on the 2.3 update.
btw, just so everyone knows: Nokia was good for the time it first came out(I will admit, it was pretty good back then) but now since technology is advancing, iPhone flushes Nokia down the toilet, LoL

what will happen is soon AT&T is adding an app to the store as THEIR AT&T navigator which as of now is said to not be included in the 30$ data package it will have voice and all and will be the only one on the iphone due to contracts !!!

dude, people gets the phone they like to have. Now you can't compare Nokia's flimsy Symbian shit with iPhone's OS. Nokia is rumored to come up with a more stable iphone like device, but they are taking their time to do this. Meanwhile apple's iPhone3G is getting better and is far more stable than it's first versions (specially safari).

iPhone leads the market with it's phone. It has been a while it's out there, still no other company could make the difference.
