louisgray.com: louisgray.com: Matthew's Story: From CenterNetworks Future to Fired In A Month

  • centernetworks · 1 year ago
Louis care Matthew, I have been advised not to comment on this matter until my legal team of McManus, Malik, Gladkova and Kirkpatrick give me the go ahead. I would ask that you refrain from posting further details until the time at which I can refute or counter any such claims.

Haha, thanks for the late-night laugh, Louis. Uh... I mean. That's horrible what happened to Matthew. I hope this story gets picked up by the mainstream media so they can show just what kind of monster is running their upstart competition. And when CN comes knocking at my door, asking for my writing services (any day now, I'm sure), I'll know to steer very clear. Thank you.

There's only one logical next step in Matthew's career:

Louis, than you are West Coast blogs' 2Pac to Allen Stern's The Notorious B.I.G.

But, I see you more as a young, hungry Reasonable Doubt-era Jay-Z.

Is the CenterNetworks position still open? I can almost do as well as Matthew.

Almost. EDIT: Should have read the ending. :)

lol - sheer brilliance - though where is Sarah in all this? :(
  • Louis Gray · 1 year ago
Sarah, being the smaller of the two, wasn't hired. It wasn't any kind of gender bias, but instead due to sheer size that got Matthew the initial offer. But she's aware of the situation and has learned from it.

Welcome to NY, an employ-at-will state. They do, however, tend to enforce non-competes. ;)

you guys are cracking me up. I've got another contender. He's white, kind of on the small side too (so glad you don't disciminate) and his name's Harry (well it's really Hairy but we try to make him feel he's among peers). His only requirements: water bowl, the mailman coming once in a while for a mental diversion, and plenty of chewies. He's cheap!!!
