It makes you wonder why all these consumer electronics companies release so many different products and try so hard, when they could concentrate all their efforts building one single perfect product. I am also a bit surprised that they did not tackle smartphones - maybe because the iPhone is too obvious a choice?

Re: louisgray.com: Kallow: Literally, A Gift Recommendation No-Brainer

Thanks for the logo love! I hope you find what you are looking for with us. We agree that providing the right product mix is key, do you see any product categories you think we are missing?

Re: louisgray.com: Kallow: Literally, A Gift Recommendation No-Brainer

Hey Phil,

Great write up! You really nailed what were are aiming to do with Kallow. It is different. It is a bit radical at first. But for everyday people we think it will make things dramatically simpler and easier.

We hope that fans of technology will pass Kallow on to their family and friends who are often confused and frustrated by the process of buying a new gadget.

We think we can help them.

Caleb
Kallow

Re: louisgray.com: Kallow: Literally, A Gift Recommendation No-Brainer

I'm not a big shopper and get frustrated by the myriad of choices when doing research so Kallow could be a shopping godsend to me and, I suspect, a lot of other people. The key will be its ability to scale in terms of the number of products it features.

Mark

Re: louisgray.com: Kallow: Literally, A Gift Recommendation No-Brainer

interesting idea. i have to say tho - kallow has the cutest logo/mascot i've ever seen :)
