louisgray.com: louisgray.com: i.TV Launching iPhone App for Local Movie, TV Listings

    Hey Louis,

Went to find it on the App store, but couldn't. Do you have a direct link to it? Also their site is still in 'stealth slick graphic only' mode.

You are such an early adopter the product doesn't even exist! lol

Caleb, my understanding is the Apple iTunes store was overloaded
yesterday, possibly with the iTunes 8 and new iPod launch, so the app
wasn't added overnight. I'll update the link to be direct as soon as
    it shows up.

Caleb, Louis is correct - the iTunes 8 launch set us back. It was set to launch today, as we were told by Apple, but now we hear it will be in the next day or so - keep watching! Check our blog at http://mediamyway.wordpress.com and the Twitter account, http://twitter.com/mediamyway and we'll let you know as soon as we find out it's up.

This reminds me - when is Sling Media going to release a SlingPlayer for the iPhone?
  • Louis Gray · 1 year ago
I would hope that at some point in the very near future, we wouldn't
need something like a Slingbox to be the go-between from your home TV
to your digital devices. Why can't you double-click on a channel
listing on your iPhone and as Steve Jobs would say, "Boom!", have CNN
streaming live? Why not the same for ESPN, Lifetime, you name it? If
it's a premium channel, login with your Comcast credentials and
"Boom!" any channel, anywhere. The future should be wireless and
portable. I don't want some slimmed down sample. I want the real deal.

    Amen, Louis :-)

Totally agree. We shouldn't need to piece together solutions from multiple vendors.
