Now the remote app uses wifi to talk to any output device also on the network and connect with any media library on the network. It's fun and amazing to link to one library and tell it to play a play list here or there. Then link to another library and send it somewhere else. Setting it all up with Verizon's router was no piece cake, though. Yes, I've just discovered the joys of using the iPod touch as a remote for iTunes on my computer, especially since my Mac Pro didn't come with a remote. An infrared remote needs a line of sight, but the wifi remote means that I can use it anywhere in the house! This will be awesome for my next party. (I'm turning 30 next week!)
