louisgray.com: louisgray.com: How to Discover New Content

  • Zee. · 1 year ago
Nice Mike. Me...frankly it's still google reader as a hub. I've created a tag called "in review" which I basically mass add sites rss feeds that I come across via friendfeed, twitter, digg, stumbleupon etc..

I then go through that tag every few days and gradually move the best of those sites/blogs to their correct tag. The sites i don't like, i get just dump. But anyway, this comment more illustrates how i filter through all the sites I find across all the various social networks...to find the "best content."

http://blern.com is another great source for discovering content. Learns what you like from Friendfeed, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, Amazon, and more, then recommends articles...

i just click "discover" in google reader. Hey presto!

Also subscribe to feeds like "thinkers" via Steve Rubel which is a cool technique for sharing and finding.

I agree with Zee... I have a "Tryouts" folder in google reader for new feeds.

"to find the content that is relative to you"
    You mean, "relevant."
