Hey Louis,

I think its a good step to move things online for a few reasons. One it clears clutter and saves space across all your computer set ups. Having it online is great for access away for those off chances you're don't have your laptop with you but happen to come across a computer. And I believe as smaller devices begin to take off (iPhone, iPod Touch), it'll be a lot more efficient to keep things in the cloud, and less in your hand.

The question is how much storage for how much money. Most of my documents are online already, so that doesn't buy me much. But if I could upload all my old .pst files plus my iTunes collections and keep it backed up for a reasonable amount of money, that's worth something to me. I'm tired of having to back up everything to DVD or external drives and then keep track of these things.

Of course, that means Google will need to give me hundreds of gigs of storage space for a pretty low price, which I just don't see happening.

huge news - and you were the first on it as far as I know.

i had a confirmation of this a couple months ago from someone I definitely trust, but seeing it in something like The Wall Street Journal will obviously wake up the masses.
