This, to me,  &lt;br&gt;means that I read more posts than are available, as I recently cut one  &lt;br&gt;or two busy feeds. It shows "items posted" as well as "items read". Google Reader reports a few different feeds for Robert, with differing subscriber counts:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Scobleizer — Tech geek blogger: 17,392 subscribers&lt;br&gt;Scobleizer: Microsoft Geek Blogger: 3,345 subscribers&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;For some reason, the one I have says 328.
