Financial sites don't interest me that much (though I check out the Dow throughout the day since things went wacky in September), but I find Tip'd to be a very intriguing site, really like the combination of targeted niche content aggregation and social news. I've been expecting this style of site to bloom since 2006, and I think we're finally starting to see it happen.

Thanks for the heads up on Tip'd. I have been looking for a site like it since silicon investor went downhill. That was the first sight I ever went to on the web. February 2005(they still have my old account information). For an old 1.0 website, there sure was a lot of discussion going on there. Now, it's like a ghost town, but still operating.
