    One usability issue with the current implementation is that the link in the tweet goes to the friendfeed page. As a user, I would prefer to go directly to the blog post. I hope they will fix that because the extra click is annoying.

    Edwin, I agree that the URL for blog posts should be to the
    destination post and not to FriendFeed. I just saw that happen with
    this post, and as a result, I'll be undoing that tie-in, and still
    sending the notes out manually via Posty. Not to make the process even
    more complicated, but there should be an option to send blog posts
    back to their original source instead.

    Great post Louis! This is an awesome example of collaboration between social platforms! I will not be adding many of the functionalities that FriendFeed is offering but the service will be nice to utilize for a few sites.

    I agree that it's a dumb move to link back to FF instead of the relevant blog post (or whatever it may be). Imagine if Google Reader made you first stop at their app before continuing on to the story you want.

    I have decided to post all my feeds into FreindFeed which then send all to Twitter which in turns posts back to Friendfeed. Then go to each service that posts to FriendFeed and also to Twitter and have those cylce from FriendFeed into Twitter and then those Tweets into FriendFeed. whew. When I am done spinning I want to put the tail on the donkey

    I think the idea here is to make sure that posting to Twitter comes through the FriendFeed page rather than the other way around. Even so, it makes better use of FriendFeed's already awesome information aggregation capabilities.
