FTC Disclosures Made Simple For Bloggers With Conflicts
Thank you for the *fantastic* post. I'm reading it late, on June 17th after having searched for a page like this for months. I'm a developer working on http://www.groundfeed.com and admittedly I have been committing every single crime you've posted here and I was thrilled to have a friend refer me to your article. I'll be spending my next few iterations trying to carefully listen to and implement many of these suggestions from you and the people who have commented; and to my friendly competitor at fav.or.it, I say you have a really great product happening, but you gotta go easier on the people you're receiving feedback from. Even not counting how much influence they will have in introducing your product to the world, just the tiniest amount of feedback sometimes can give you an idea that will propel your product to success, so you can't afford to alienate people by suggesting they're wrong. Remember that the users is always right regardless of your technical justifications. Great looking site by the way.
