damn i actually dropped mine yesterday and it got crushed too :( i love my macbook pro but its like a soda can in that it get crushed too easily. im a freshmen in college i just dont see it making it through my college years

I am thinking work insurance...I think they cover for momentary laps of stupidity. You could claim that someone tried to steal the car and did it...auto insurance? Apple care?sony vgp-bps2b battery American expres coverage? ...it just really sucks.

So sorry, I've done the same. but not quite the same. few times. (as a photographer id never leave a laptop in a convertible however) Thats why I bought one of those plastic skins. It all helps. Apple care use to cover screens but no more. Around $900 i think for repair.

My wife did this to her 12" G4 laptop over a year ago, and it is still kicking. You can actually see internal parts whirring and spinning through the gaps in the case. If it ain't broke...

Pobrecito Louis. It is true that there are lots of horrible things that happen to laptops, they have very hard lives. I met a lady yesterday who poured lemonade all over her brand new macbook. I flipped it over and put paper towels under it....and the liquid came out of the iSight. Oops.
