    Thanks for the challenge, Louis.
The best part of this experience has been how many people are involved. From the beginning folks on FriendFeed and other bloggers have been giving me input and ideas. In the past 48 hours, I've talked with half a dozen people to get the badge working on both versions of Blogger, Tumblr (was requested via FriendFeed), and a FeedBurner FeedFlare (requested via Twitter).
This was a lot of fun and, I think it's fair to say, a big win for the community.
Crowdsourcing development has a bright future. We've only seen the beginning.

Care to make another plugin? RSSmeme stores Google Reader notes and I know Louis would love to get them out of RSSmeme and onto his blog. http://www.rssmeme.com/api/?url=http://www.loui... for instance

Excellent. i will pick this story up and cover it in two blogs. as someone who likes to run things in blogger because of the sheer freedom and the spirit of the original Blogger. i must say that it is great to see guys like Pat willing for the challenges the new blogger offers.

You might find there are solutions out there doing this already... does TopCoder allow individuals to post development projects to the competition arenas and developer community?
