Thanks for the post.. I've messed with chrome for all of 10 minutes on the PC hooked up to my plasma but I've been eager to give it a whirl on my primary mac.

After tinkering with it for a while in OS X, I've come to the conclusion that the CodeWeavers version (wine-based) takes away the good part of Chrome - speed. It was slow for me, scrolling was awkwardly unresponsive and of course the whole font rendering issue. Sigh, I'll just wait for the GOOG to do their magic.

Thanks for the find. For some reason, following the instructions on the tutorial to run Chrome with WINE didn't work.

For some odd reason, the address bar appears to be having some font issues, but Chrome works well otherwise.
