I'm a big fan of BackType, and what it means for blog commenting in general. As I see it, BackType turns the entire blogosphere into a social network, because you can track what your friends are commenting on, and join in the conversation. As long as you're following people you trust, you'll know what blog posts are interesting because they've taken the time to comment on that post, and you can see what posts are really hot if you see a few people that you follow commenting on the same one.

I hope more people start to actively use and utilize BackType, because it's a terrific service that I would like to see grow.

Love anything that gets comments out there more widely. Fun to follow what others are saying, great for bloggers with interesting posts who get comments.
