FTC Disclosures Made Simple For Bloggers With Conflicts
Thanks for a great post.
I am afraid that we are only seeing the start of what i believe will be a tidal wave of attempted fraud on all the social networks, not only Facebook. The fraudsters abuse the inherent trust that is present in all social networks to take advantage of people.
John Dierckx of ARCIS Fraud Discovery & Exposure Centre wrote of a similar scheme http://arcisfdec.blogspot.com/2009/01/facebook-...
I have also recently written on the same subject at Corporate Crime Watch. http://corporatecrimewatch.wordpress.com
Two companies that come to mind are edigitalstream.com and superfreehosting.com. All from Pakistan. Their favorite targets are to scam people from US and Canada. They use fake addresses and want to claim they are in the UK.
