you should have patience with you website traffic it is not a thing which can be created in a day or two so have patience slowly & steadly you will see traffic coming to your website

This is good information for those starting out. I am a marketing Coach based in Scotland for many of my clients are just moving into the Internet age, they are looking for traffic solution and do not always like my answers. Your post proves the point. In traditional marketing the key was always to build relationships with customers so that they take time to read your letters and answer your calls.

Blogging and social media require the same consistent behaviour and time commitment as with any marketing process. The big advantage is the potential for feedback and real time customer interaction.

I think you hit the nail when you say be a two-way blogger and develop relationships with other bloggers, I think people generally like to be engaged in the information they are reading or following and can add so much to it that the Synergy created might be greater then the info itself..

I think #4 is my favorite point. Blogging is all about creating value and thought, and the interaction between you and your readers is really where this happens. If someone takes the time to read and comment on your article, it's only courteous that you acknowledge it and even show them the same respect by commenting on their blog. This will lead to relationships with your readers and help you create a network.

Start with your page titles, headlines, and url structure. They always should contain the relevant keywords/phrases you are targeting. Try to use your keywords in the beginning of your headlines, titles and content body. I also wrote a detailed post with tips for improving search engine visibility. I go into much more detail. Thanks for the comment. That's a very good question defining "arrived." I think it has different meanings and outcomes for all of us. For some it's page views, ad revenue, massive followings etc. I don't know if one can say they have ever truly arrived. What I can say is you will feel it when it happens.

The only ppl asking me for Link exchanges are SEOs and I usually mark those mails as spam. I don't know about other bloggers, but all bloggers not into greyhat seo or worse HATE spammers, as they abuse our blogs to make money.

So after reading your very first hint I don't really feel like reading on, although I KNOW that your intentions are different. That is why I am so irritated.
