louisgray.com: Listiti Watches Selected Twitter Lists for Keywords and Alerts

  • samksethi · 1 month ago
This is very powerful, until now I have used hashtags in tweetdeck columns to track events/topics. Once Tweetdeck adds support lists I will be able to follow both lists and hashtags. Now with Listi I can track keywords just as I used to do with Particls (from Chris Saad). It will be interesting to see how these lists develop overtime.

Personally I think we are at the dawn of a reputation system. Lists are not something I can chose to be on. I am only added when others choose to add me. The more lists a person is on might be one measure of their reputation. Equally if we can tag people or digg vote them up on a list it might show us who is an expert in any list or topic.

I think what will matter is not how many lists a person is on, but "which" lists a person is on.

Thanks, Louis. I wonder how many more hundreds of sites will be born from Twitter Lists? ;-)

This is a great tool for monitoring lists and the content you want to get from the sources you choose. I think I grossly underestimated the power of the Twitter lists, but within a week or two after it went public I could see the value.

It is great to see services like this jump on that api so quickly. Looking forward to seeing what is next.
