Coming soon to a theatre near you!!

2) At this time there is no time limit to your Cinch's

There are many more features coming soon.

Hope you enjoy Cinch.

Re: CinchCast Puts Mini Podcasts In Your Pocket

There's also an API for this. I'm considering writing a Wordpress plugin
for it if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

Re: CinchCast Puts Mini Podcasts In Your Pocket

it would be great to have that nice purple button player on blogs :)
thanks Jesse

Re: CinchCast Puts Mini Podcasts In Your Pocket

B2B, ffcode, FWIW I've talked to the Cinch guys about this and they're working on embeddable Cinches. I don't believe there's a maximum recording time. The general format encourages shorter audio though. Nothing's stopping you from doing longer however.

Re: CinchCast Puts Mini Podcasts In Your Pocket

B2B don't think there is any maximum recording time. just listened to a talk of Jesse Stay with Louis Gray and it was 26 minutes long

player is not embeddable though one can link the cinch "the audio, text and images" anywhere

Re: CinchCast Puts Mini Podcasts In Your Pocket

You might want to give Twaud.io a try. According to New Media Update (http://www.podcastingnews.c..., they support RSS, which would be really cool. I couldn't find it on their site, nor have I used it myself, but just wanted to tip you if you haven't seen it yet.

Re: CinchCast Puts Mini Podcasts In Your Pocket

great new service, already loving it, better than any other thanks Louis

Re: CinchCast Puts Mini Podcasts In Your Pocket

Thanks for sharing this Louis. A couple of questions:

1) Is there a cinch player that you can embed in a blog post?

2) Is there a maximum recording time?

Re: CinchCast Puts Mini Podcasts In Your Pocket

Thanks for this post, Louis! I've been looking for something that records a little better than the in-built voice recorder for the iPhone, just downloaded the app and I'm looking forward to experimenting with it this week!

Re: CinchCast Puts Mini Podcasts In Your Pocket

Louis, thx for mentioning my post. To clarify, at this time, a Cinch is unlimited in duration whether it's recorded via the phone or the app.

Alan
